About Us

Jay Engineering Works is a 45-year-old organization specializing in the supply of precision-machined metal components to the automotive industry. We manufacture high-volume, precision-turned parts from bar stock, forgings, and castings, strictly adhering to customer specifications and prints. Our key strengths lie in delivering repeatable quality, on-time delivery, and maintaining a sharp focus on customer requirements.

With a fleet of 30 CNC machines, we ensure high levels of precision, repeatability, and consistent quality across all production batches.

We are located in Ambattur, Chennai—the automotive hub of India, home to major multinational automotive companies such as Ford, Hyundai, Renault, Delphi, Ashok Leyland, Visteon, Borg Warner, and many others. Surrounded by thousands of Tier 1 and Tier 2 automotive suppliers, our strategic location enables seamless sourcing and collaboration within the automotive supply chain.

We operate under the ISO/TS 16949 quality management system, with documentation and quality processes tailored to meet individual customer requirements.

Our products are manufactured from bar stock materials including aluminum, steel, brass, and stainless steel, and are supplied to engineering clients worldwide. Our in-house capabilities cover a range of machining and finishing operations such as turning, drilling, boring, honing, broaching, grinding, phosphating, and electroplating, enabling us to deliver complete, ready-to-assemble components.
